Bigg Boss 14: Abhishek Awasthi clears air on Rakhi Sawant's allegations; Calls them baseless & distasteful

One of the latest episodes of Bigg Boss 14 witnessed challenger Rakhi Sawant speaking her heart out to co-contestant Rahul Vaidya. The actress also mentioned her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi in this regard and alleged that he cheated on her with a friend. However, this did not go well with the actor who is now a married man. For the unversed, he tied the knot with Ankita Goswami. During an exclusive interaction with TOI, he said that his wife is upset about it.

Not only did his wife Ankita asked him the reason behind Rakhi bringing up his name but Abhishek also added that it’s not right for someone to say distasteful things on national TV. Ask him about the cheating accusations, Abhishek said that he has no idea about the ‘friend’ mentioned by her in the reality show. The actor also hilariously asked as to which girl would dare to date him if he was with Rakhi Sawant.

Abhishek further added that the makers and the channel should have thought about him before airing the allegations. He quoted, “It can cause damage to my reputation and affect my life adversely.” The actor has added that Rakhi’s nature keeps on fluctuating. He told TOI, “It’s true that she has always lived her life in the public eye. But since the past few years, a cheapness has seeped in which was never there before.” He also said that Rakhi Sawant does not realize when the entertainment turns into cheapness.
