Actress Sonal Vengurlekar, whose show Yeh Vaada Raha completes one year, is beaming with joy on the success. When contacted, a jubilant Sonal said, "I feel great that my show completed a successful year. When I look back, I feel it would have been impossible without blessings from my parents and the love and support from all my fans." She further said, "I've always got positive responses from my fans and my friends, but still I feel that there are many things which I could have done better, because with acting there's always scope for improvement."

Sonal also revealed why she could essay the character of Survi so well. She said, "The reason people loved Survi was because I could totally relate with her. She is a brave girl, who is ready to accept challenges and save her loved ones from trouble. Even when things are not going smooth in her life, she manages to smile and stay strong, and I'm quite like that. The only place we differ is the kind of clothes she wears. She's always dressed in Indian clothes, which I like too, but I'm more comfortable in western outfits."
Sonal also spoke about the changes she'd like to see around her.

She says, "I think this is the best industry I am working in and have seen many changes in it in past few years. Still I wish that casting couch should be totally banned. It's because people come from different cities to our industry with great hopes and dreams. And when things don't go well for them, they get into these casting scams. On that front, strict actions should be taken against individuals who exploit people," she signed off.
