A 2019 Hindi-language movie titled Eeb Allay Ooo! was written by Shubham and directed by Prateek Vats in his debut as a director. The story centers on a young immigrant who accepts an odd government job in New Delhi: keeping monkeys away from public structures. It also explores his problems and frustration with the position. The three unique noises used by a skilled monkey chaser in the movie to frighten the rhesus macaques are the inspiration for the title, which is an onomatopoeic play on words. At the 2019 Pingyao International Film Festival, Eeb Allay Ooo! had its world premiere. The movie was presented as a part of the We Are One: A World Film Festival in 2020 and was chosen for the 70th Berlin International Film Festival. The film was released theatrically in India on 18 December 2020. It won the Filmfare Award for the Best Film (Critics) announced in March 2021
