The sons of a politician from Mumbai, Makiya and Nana, rape a foreign belly dancer named Maya and leave her to die. In their efforts to secure justice for Maya, social activists Satya and Sitapati stop at nothing. Even though Sitapati continues to fight the legal battle, Satya is fatally injured in the process. The defendants are freed by the court. Makiya and his brother shoot Sitapati dead when Sitapati provokes them, and both of them are then taken into custody. The NGO where Satya used to work sees Maya develop into a social activist.
