The actor used to weigh around 130 kgs and clearly was obese and unhealthy. And now, after following stringent diet and workout routine the actor lost around 25-30 kgs and now sports a super cool silver fox look. Diet
Ram followed one of the popular weight loss technique i.e. Intermittent fasting. The actor chose 16/8 intermittent fasting method. So by following the same, he used to restrict his food intake beyond the window of eight hours. So basically, he didn't eat for the rest of 16 hours which means one has to fast for those hours. Intermittent fasting can be easily achieved when you eat early by the evening and then breaking the fast in the morning and with this most of the hours of fasting is spent while we are asleep.
He also revealed that he completely gave up dairy, oil, meat and most of the carbs. For the unversed, the intermittent fasting works quite well when one switches to whole grains such as quinoa, oats, barley, and buckwheat among others. Also, one should eat protein. The best sources of protein are meat, poultry, fish, legumes, eggs, nuts and seeds among others.
Workout
The 45-year old was working out every day for two hours. As per his interview with Pune Mirror, he used to do an hour of weight-lifting on an empty stomach and before going to sleep he used to do an intense cardio workout.
