1. 45-60 minutes of physical activity
As per Diksha, one has to devote at least 45-60 minutes for a workout session. She said, "The physical activity can be of your choice. From walking to swimming, whatever one enjoys. One should go for more compound exercises as it includes more than one muscle group. More muscle compounds, more movements and the same lead to more burning of calories in less time."

2. Don't starve
Diksha opined, "One should never starve them self. People usually try to eat less, or they are on a salad diet. Some people switch to complete fruits diet. You get very temporary results from those. So, one should follow a diet which is sustainable and it has to be part of a permanent lifestyle. She added, "It is a simple mechanism; the brain will not understand that a person is fat or lean. If you give less food, the brain will send signals that the body needs to store energy and the same fats get stored."

3. Include all the macronutrients in your meals
Diksha also revealed how one should go for a colorful plate. She said, "Eat wholesomely and also your meal should have all the macro nutrients, i.e. proteins, carbs, fiber, fats and vitamins and minerals in the right proportion to get ideal results."

4. Diet patterns can be followed 
When asked about the latest diet patterns such as Keto, she said, "There are a lot of diet patterns nowadays and you can practice them which doesn't need a lot of physical activities and get results. So, somebody who has a strenuous work-life can practice these diets. But it should be done properly and it should be planned and to be handled by professionals because as Google diets are not very effective. It can lead to weight gain if not done properly."

5. Fat burners alone won't help
When asked about the weight loss pill, she stated, "Fat burners will only work when your base is firm which means when you are on a healthy diet. People often do a mistake by having fat burners without proper nutritive food intake. People have a habit of having 5 cups of green tea to lose fat and improve metabolism. Till the time you do not have an active lifestyle and eat the right thing at the right time, no fat burner or green tea will help you."

6. Do not mix two types of carbs
Diksha revealed, "If you are having roti, then have them and if you having rice, then have it. If you having any other carbs i.e. oats or quinoa, eat that only. Do not mix everything, it will add on to your carb intake."
