It’s very easy to put on weight around your belly. Just when you start to ignore your body the first thing that happens is that your belly gets affected. You start putting on weight around your stomach and those love handles grow and so does the belly. It’s not uncommon to miss the flat belly and want it back but it’s not possible to do so with a diet. There’s no food that can work only on specific areas of your body which means that your only way out is a proper workout routine. Here are a few exercises that can help you tone the belly and get a flat stomach.
1. Planks can help tighten and tone your core. Get down on the floor in a push-up position but fold your elbows and put your body weight on your forearms. Ensure that your body is aligned and tighten your core and hold it for as long as you can. Repeat this 6 times.

2. Crunches make your body burn more fat than usual. It’s an intensive exercise. Lie down on your back with your knees folded and feel on the ground. Put your hands under your head and try to lift your upper body as much as you can without any support. Do this 15-20 times.

3. Bicycle crunches are pretty easy to do and they help flatten your stomach. Lie down with your hand behind your head. Now lift your legs and fold your knees and move your legs like you would if you were riding a bicycle.

4. Flutter kicks strain your core and tighten it. Lie straight on the floor with your hands facing the floor lying next to your body. Now slowly lift your legs up with your toes pointed. Lift your leg one at a time, about 5 to 10 inches and put it back. Now let your legs move like fluttering for a bit.
