Feeling stuffed and bloated is a pretty common problem. Chances are that your gastrointestinal tract is unhappy. Gas and water retention are the two main causes of bloating. When you are following a strict routine and doing your work out and watching your diet, it’s hard to see ever one number higher on the scale. But this isn’t the wort of weight you can lose just by running on the mill or doing some jumping jacks. It’s important to take extra precautions and lose this water weight for good. It’s also essential that you keep a tab on your habits and diet to ensure that you don’t put on water weight again and again. Water weight is not dangerous but it is known to be a sign of a bigger problem so if you’ve been struggling with it for too long and nothing helps just see a doctor. 3. Include electrolytes in your diet. Minerals like potassium and magnesium support our body in maintaining water balance. Eat foods that are rich in magnesium and potassium in order to lose the water weight and regulate the water balance.

4. Manage your sodium consumption. If your sodium levels are too high or too low, it could lead to water retention. Ensure that you consume adequate sodium and your salt intake is not too high. A balance in sodium levels helps reduce water weight and regulates that water balance in your body.
