Use your bed for what it’s meant for
Your bed should be a sacred and an intimate place. Bringing your work to bed can only affect your sleep by affecting the environment and sleep quality.

Establish a bedtime routine
Going to bed at the same time every day can be really helpful. Your brain will immediately adapt to the scheduling making it easier to induce sleep.
Relax before sleeping
Taking up an activity like reading before bedtime can relax your nerves. This helps you sleep than tossing and turning all night long.
Make sure that your stomach is relaxed
If you have eaten spicy or acidic food before bed, it could become the reason for your sleep deprivation. It is important that all body activities have calmed for a fruitful night of sleep.
Avoid Caffeinated products before bed
Try avoiding coffee and energy drinks at least 6 hours before bedtime. Caffeine makes it harder to sleep at night creating a cycle.
Avoid Technology

The light from your gadgets awakes your brain right before bed. Brightly lit screens can also mislead your brain into thinking it's time to wake up. Avoid using these gadgets atleast 20 minutes before hitting the bed.
