1. Stay Hydrated
Dehydration causes your feet to swell and even causes headaches, which is so not something you want, especially when you are feeling low!

2. Essential Oils
Some essential oils and known to boost energy levels, calm you down, relax you and reduce fatigue. You can either just inhale these, drop them into a diffuser and refresh the room with some essential oils. Some great options for essentials oils are eucalyptus, mint and cinnamon.

3. Make your space smell good
While we are on the topic of essential oils, another tip to lift your spirits is to make your room smell good! a good smelling candle or favourite fragrance can lift your mood. Try aromatherapy, inhaling or topically applying essential oils, to cheer you up and reduce stress.

4. Colour Therapy
Colour can greatly impact your mood. Consider painting a few rooms or adding decorative elements with a cheerful colour to your space. Red especially lifts spirits! Spotting red, this bright and beautiful colour is also known to actually raise energy levels. So spotting patches of scarlet in different places will help you raise lift your mood. Another great way to this is, is to add splashes of red kerbs your outfit. Be it a pair of red shoes or a red handbag!

5. Shopping Therapy
Those who say "Money cannot buy happiness, doesn't know where to shop" They say money can’t buy happiness—but sometimes it can. The shopping may not just be limited to materialistic things. You can also shop for experiences such as concert tickets or an IPL game.

6. Watch an episode of Friends
I have probably watched every episode of Friends, the sitcom series from a few years ago, ten times and it always gets a smile on my face. Feeling down? Just watch an episode or two and your mood will lift.

7. Sing your heart out
Yes, when you are feeling low, randomly singing will be weird, but just put your favourite song on and you will find yourself humming along instantly. When you do, don't forget to sing your heart out!

8. Dance
It sets the mood as fun, joyful and ready for anything. Try it. It is hard to stay down when you are shaking your hips to Shakira.

9. Black coffee
If all of the above don't work, just shoot some black coffee. All you have to do is add a few coffee granules to some water and drink up. If you don't like the taste you can mix coffee and iced water with ice. Trust me, you will be bouncing off the walls when you do this.

1. Oranges: Oranges are packed with Vitamin-c and kerbs stress hormones
2. Spinach: Spinach is packed with magnesium that helps lower fatigue.
3. Fish: Fatty fishes like salmon are packed with Omega-3 fatty acids that are natural sworn enemies of stress hormones! packed with Vitamin-E, so juts a handful of these will help fight stress.
