International Kissing Day: Different types of kisses and what it actually means

Love and romance is what makes the World go round. Of course we know that. When cupid strikes, everything turns into a flower bloomed land with the sweet mystic soft tunes swooning in our ears and the Universe just feeling like the most beautiful place. Well, be it the first eye contact, the first touch or the first embrace, everything seems special with your special someone. While all these firsts do leave a mark, it’s the first kiss which literally shakes you up. 

Kiss is the first step towards building that perfect intimate relationship with your better-half. But interesting given the major diversity of this World and the different cultures we all hail from, there are many variations to this cute ‘element’. With it being the International Kissing Day today, let’s find out the different types of kisses that exist all around the World.

Subtle peck

While a passionate kiss takes you on a different level, it is the subtle peck which leaves you with assurity. I’m sure most of you guys have experienced it. Be it when you meet and greet each other, just before you are leaving or to put forth a sense of comfort, a subtle peck is truly beautiful. 

Eskimo kiss

Although the word might seem confusing but this one is something which most of us must have done in life. It’s a kiss wherein the two rub their noses against each other. Definitely one of those kisses which takes place in the beginning of the relationship. 

Earlobe kiss

Definitely that one kisses which kickstarts the entire rendezvous. The earlobe kiss is notorious and one that sets the mood blazing. If you want to turn your partner on then whisper sweet nothings in the ear and then lick and kiss it. 

Single lip kiss

Just when you are getting in the act and want to arouse your special someone, then go for the single lip kiss. A combination of it being subtle yet intimate, this kiss is the starting off point in your foreplay and can lead to a lot more. 

French kiss 

Undoubtedly the most errotic kiss, ever. The french kiss is all about using the tongue. This kiss often leads to you getting more and more involved in the whole act. The play of tongue keeps getting more and more intense as you keep progressing. It usually is one of the most loved and used kisses. 

Lizard kiss

A more passionate and erotic version of a French kiss. This kiss is similar to a french kiss, however, the tongue strokes are faster and more at it. The kiss also is more aggressive in nature with a bit of biting and sucking too.

Spiderman kiss

As the name suggests, this kiss is inspired by the film Spiderman wherein he is upside down and his girlfriend, Mary Jane is standing right-side up and they lock lips. You can carry this out when you are sitting and your partner is lying down in your lap. 

Vampire kiss

One that starts off from the neck, the kiss is extremely seductive. It involves a lot of sucking and biting too which tends to leave a mark on the body, much like the Vampire bite. The whole act is quite fierce, aggressive and wild which helps in setting the mood. 

Not just kissing builds an intimate relationship with your partner, it also helps in burning a lot of calories and helps in releasing happy hormones. So don’t just depend on this day but make sure that you’re physically active with your partner to strengthen a happy bond.
