Recently ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, opened the doors to let AD profile his home. It is a functional, charming apartment with an artistic touch and has a sense of history to it.
We are breaking down his home for you to help you get this look!
1. The garden
Get an old looking dressing table to place your plants to give your garden a vintage vibe.


2. The Terrace
Dining tables are for the basic this ace designer doubled a writing desk on his terrace and made it a dining table laid with crockery from Goodearth and Kalighat.

Anything old rugged and vintage not only looks like it has a story to tell but it also lends an artistic vibe to your home.

3. The entryway
The entryway has aubergine-coloured walls adorned with photographs depicting travellers in a three-tier sleeper train.
A traditional lamp hangs from the ceiling.

4. Dining room
The small dining room features art from the Sabyasachi Art Foundation and works by Dhruvi Acharya.
The dining table is made of wood, rattan and glass from Kochi.

5. Kitchen
White porcelain, distressed wood cabinets and ethnic tiles are a feature of the open kitchen.
The house is filled with old books that are a part of his family collection, perfume bottles, plants and creepers.

6. The living room
A corner of Mukherjee’s living room has antique textiles, eclectic art and old rugs. A brass dog and a tin barrel lamp are quirky accents.
The bedroom has beaten brass lamps, green-marble-topped side tables and ajrakh bedlinen.
