High blood pressure symptoms:

When to consult your doctor

If you have any of these above-mentioned symptoms, consult your doctor right away. This could be a sign of hypertensive crisis leading to a heart attack or stroke. Most of the time headache or nose bleeding is caused when blood pressure is above 180/120. If you have a device to monitor the pressure at home, then check it regularly. When the level is extremely high, wait for 5 minutes and then check again. If the pressure is still high, then it might be a medical emergency.

In this condition, you should keep the device at your home so that you can check your blood pressure level regularly. Apart from that, regular consultation with the doctor is also advisable because high blood pressure doesn’t show any symptoms in general. So, you have to monitor it. Lifestyle changes are advised along with strict medications in high blood pressure.
