The good old traditional Henna, popularly known as Mehndi in India now has taken a modern twist as glitter henna. Glitter henna is a fabulous and grand alternative to traditional brown henna and is the new big trend of the season.

Glitter Henna only last 6-8 hours, hence making it perfect for a night out. Instead of wearing a necklace or bracelets, get some silver henna done instead! 

You can buy the glitter gels or get some loose glitter and mix it into body glue to make your own. You can also apply sparkle dust on top of white or brown henna before it dries, causing the glitter to fuse to the paint. Alternatively, you can use glittery waterproof body paints to create the designs. Either way, the finished look is beautiful and blinged out.

Traditional henna is a ridiculously beautiful body art the world is obsessed with and as stunning as traditional henna designs can be, they might just not be exciting enough for the adventurous beauty lover.
