Fashion forecast: these prints are going to be huge in 2017!

2017 is all about reviving the classics, gone are the big, bold and tacky prints. 2017 is all about keeping it intricate, classic and chic! Here are the trends that will be huge in 2017.

1. Evergreen stripes 

Stripes have always been a classic trend. They are seen on everything from shoes, bags to clothes and accessories. But leading the pack this time are vertical stripes. 

2. Plaid or checkered patterns

Plaid is another classic trend that has had a revival. This print, however, is huge during the fall and may not translate into a summer trend! This time around the plaid and checkered patterns are not in muted shades, instead, they are in bright and vibrant colours. 

3. Ditsy print 

Speaking of classy, chic, subtle and feminine prints, the ditsy print is another one which is big in 2017. 

4. Geometric figures 

Moving on to the bigger and bolder ones, geometric shapes and figures in fashion have always been deemed as futuristic designs. Well the future is here as Geometric are trending BIG this season. 

5. Psychedelic Prints

Music influences fashion for sure, with EDM the flavor of the season Psychedelic prints is trending big time! Concentric circles, spirals, paisleys, metaphysical and surrealistic images, pulsating designs and patterns painted in the most vibrant colors possible make for this quirky trend. 

6. Houndstooth

Here is another classic which is making a comeback in 2017! The houndstooth print. This print, however, remains in it's original classic form.
