Runway Report: Trends spotted at AIFW Day 2

The Amazon India Fashion Week is taking place in the capital and as designers displayed their spring-summer 2017 

1. Box Blouses 

Box shaped crop tops worn as blouses, in form of button up shirts or just half sleeve crop tops are the new way to wear your blouse! These trends were spotted in the Anavilla collection.

2. Androgyny and old school English styles 

Old school, English-style clothes with an Indian twist were spotted on Ashish Soni's runway. Long asymmetrical kurtas with, bow ties, pocket squares, and oversize trousers. with ankle length socks and ballerinas.

3. Organza and Light tissue fabric 

Choosing the right fabric during the summers in key! The fabric that ruled day two of AIFW were organza and tissue fabric. Kurta's, palazzo pants and bomber jacket. 

4. Paper bag waist and pleated high waist pants 

High waist pants, skirts, and pleated wraps, with paper bag waist, were also spotted on the runway!
