We recently attended the launch of a new line of designer duo Sonam and Paras Modi at their flagship store.

Here are styles that the designer duo and their muse Bhumi Pednekar think you must try this wedding season.

Soft and romantic mood :

If it is not romantic, it is not a wedding. Incorporate the romance in your outfit, play around with motifs like floral and roses.

Origami pants with a kurta :

This is a fun new outfit for quick easy wedding functions where you don't want to wear a lengha or sari but still look dressed up.

Cold shoulder outfits for the young and fun bride:

An easy way to spice up your old choli or blouse is to take to your friendly neighbouring tailor, get the shoulders cut out, making it a cold shoulder.

Hand woven fabrics are back:

Give a modern take your handwoven fabrics. Great craftsmanship never goes out of fashion.

Pastels or Royal Colours:

Use either pastel colours such as baby pink, sky blue or royal hues such as deep blue, green, maroon and hot pink.

Skip the choli and go for slashing neckline coats:

If you are daring and bold enough, then skip your choli and pair your lengha with a long coat! It is fun, contemporary and totally unexpected.

In no mood to wear a lengha? Try gowns like these :

Don't forget to keep it easy and have fun this wedding season!
