Tom Ford’s new message this Fall/Winter 18 is “Pussy Power”
Tom Ford presented their Fall/Winter 18 collection at the New York Fashion Week which was majorly 80s-inspired.
The New York Fashion Week has kick started and feminism is surely on a roll. With the ongoing #MeToo and #TimesUp movement, the world is buzzing and all fired up for a change. Tom Ford opened the first day of the coveted fashion week and the show was all about the women power sass!
The designer presented their Fall/Winter 18 collection which was majorly 80s-inspired. The collection included a lot of neon, leopard prints and superglamourous and exaggerated earrings. However, the highlight of the show were the sequined and sparkly accessories that the models carried which featured the words, “Pussy Power” in caps.
The sling bags especially stood out as the outfit that the models had donned were mostly all black or darker shades. The “Pussy Power” caption is not just limited to bags, Tom Ford also launched the perfect pair of 9-5 shoes which had the words on them again sparkling as ever.
The fashion week has just begun and if the first day started off on such an empowering note we wonder what the other 6 days have in store for us.
