Kate Middleton looks dainty in a powder blue Elie Saab dress at the Royal Ascot

Kate Middleton has been keeping herself busy. Between juggling with her royal duties, children and now helping out sister-in-law Meghan Markle with her newborn Archie, the Duchess of Cambridge still manages to participate in royal traditions. She arrived for the first day of the Royal Ascot, the five-day festivity of the British social events of the season with the finest people trotting in looking their best, while summer commences. 

Kate's mode of transport, a carriage which is usually left open, was closed up due to the rain. her choice of attire for the event, blew us away! She opted for a light blue lace ensemble by Elie Saab that had a flowy silhouette and a bow at her neck.. Her bold blue fascinator which matched her dress was by Philip Treacy and had a large flower tucked underneath her blue hat! Brilliant blue topaz diamond drop earrings by Kiki McDonough matched her dress. She opted for silver heels to complete her look. 

Her makeup was kept to a minimum as always, with blush pink cheeks, well-lined eyes and natural pink lips defining her look. 

We love how the blue of her outfit perfectly matched her eye colour and looked perfectly elegant and graceful for the happening event which seems like a lot of fun!

Prince Charles, The Queen Prince William, Princess Eugine and more were some in attendance of the event.
