Kate Middleton takes the lacy route in a show stopping Alexander McQueen gown with Prince William1

Kate Middleton has so far never failed to impress us with her looks. Apart from playing Duchess, a wife and a mother, she also manages to fulfill her royal duties and still look amazing no matter where she is spotted or what she is wearing. 

Most recently, the Duchess of Cambridge left crows gazing at her as she attended the Royal Variety Performance in London alongside husband Prince William. The mother-of-three picked out a lovely see-through lace gown by Alexander McQueen. The gown was custom-made for the royal and featured a sweetheart neckline, a sleek velvet waistband and a neutral shade lining beneath the black net detailed layer. Completely sheer sleeves, statement ruby chandelier earrings and black pumps completed her look for the event. 
Adding a touch of glamour to the look, Kate styled her hair into curls. Going all-out with her makeup as well, she went with smokey eyes, winged liner and neutral glossy lips over a flawless base. 

In her outfit, Kate ensured she met all the royal standards by covering up her entire body. Still, the dress was a risky one and it spoke a lot that she showed both her entire arms through the sheer sleeves. 

Next to her, Prince William looked dapper in a black tuxedo over a crisp white shirt.
