Modern menswear has touched new heights with the launch of the RompHim. What is the RompHim? Well, a RompHim is the bro version of a romper.

Now we all have full faith in our fashionable men, who can carry off even the most OTT trends to the simplest of ones, however, this particular creation might be the most interesting to watch, unfold.

Created by four to-be graduates from business school, it all started as an independent study project that turned out to gain massive popularity in the US. According to a well-known magazine, when Daniel Webster Clark and Elaine Chen (two of the founders) were quizzed on their journey and about how they made the male romper, they said, “We were looking for something different that didn’t already exist for guys.” Chen added, “Daniel here was a little tired of wearing the same button-down pants, so we got to talking about why we couldn’t build a better product and make a romper available for men – that’s cool and fun and different, and a conversation starter at the end of the day”

The aim of the RompHim was to break the stereotypes in men’s clothing, as well as step away from being too runway or too basic. Its company, ACED Design, have been shipping these pastel coloured beauties out at a rapid speed and one thing’s for sure; this trend is here to stay for quite a while. With active social media promotions, the company has zoomed past their set goal of $10,000, touch a whopping $70,000, that is only increasing by the second.

Love it or hate it, the romper for dudes isn’t something you can ignore. Let’s hope the American layman will now finally be satisfied with this new level of chill clothing.
