Meet Freida Pinto's Stylist

The Man Behind Freida's flawless sense of style

Freida Pinto played a plain Jane in Slumdog Millionaire but her flalwlessly stylish red carpet avatars are a far cry from the simple character she played in the film. She has become a fashionista now and could give any reigning red carpet diva a run for her money.
Dressed in high end designer brands from head-to-toe, she is a picture of perfection at all the events she attends. Hollywood stylist George Kotsiopoulos is the man who makes sure she looks like a million bucks at every appearnce. He tells us about how they choose the right dress and more.

What do you think of Freida's personal sense of style?

Freida has a wonderful sense of personal style and has excellent taste. She is very chic, poised, intelligent and incredibly sweet. She is a pleasure to work with and I am very lucky!

What did and you and Freida discuss when you joined her as a stylist?

Freida mentioned to me some of the designers she liked including Chanel and Marchesa.

What are the factors you keep in mind while styling her?

When styling Freida for the awards shows I wanted to reference her Indian heritage as much as possible through draping and the use of some bright color. I also wanted people to see her as simply the talented and beautiful young woman she is and not have the clothing eclipse this.

From all the looks that you have styled Freida for, what is your favourite?

I have loved every outfit she has worn from the Lacroix Couture at the Golden Globes, the Roland Mouret at the Palm Springs Film Festival, Gaultier Couture at the Los Angeles Film Critics dinner, and Derek Lam to the BAFTA Tea in Beverly Hills, Marchesa at SAG to both Zac Posen dresses at the LA Film Critics Awards and also DGA. Freida looks amazing in everything which one would think is easy but it's hard to narrow down when you have many fabulous choices. But we both know when it's "the one."

Could you mention some of your other clients?

I have worked with Kerry Washington, Julianne Moore, Anne Hathaway, Zooey Deschanel, Meg Ryan and Heidi Klum among many others for their magazine editorials and red carpet appearances.
