Eoin Morgan’s England team currently ranks fifth in the points table and will have to win in this clash against the Men in Blue to keep alive their hopes of semi-finals. The team has lost their previous two matches in the tournament, against Sri Lanka and Australia and will look forward to give a tough fight in their must win clash against India.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli admitted in a press conference that everyone is a bit surprised with England’s 2019 World Cup journey because they thought that England would dominate in their own conditions.

"Everyone is a bit surprised because we thought England is probably going to dominate in their own conditions. But as I said at the beginning of the tournament, pressure is going to be a massive factor to handle and low scores are going to be defended.”

He mentioned that because he has played two World Cups, he is aware that this kind of situation usually happens in such a big tournament where all teams are really strong. He added that even they got a scare from Afghanistan and then they played another low scoring game against the Windies, so you can’t take anything for granted.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli said that the other teams have outplayed England on occasions and it is a bit surprising but he expected something like that in the World Cup where the teams are going to be put under pressure.

However, he also added that even though India haven’t lost a single match till now in the tournament, they still can’t be complacent as a side. “The reason why we have won all the games that we have played is because we are very professional and precise in pressure moments.”
