The true feeling of patriotism we get while we stand up for the Nation Anthem is just overwhelming. Remembering the sacrifices made by our men makes us emotional to give us the freedom that we are enjoying today makes us emotional and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is no different. The beautiful actress was spotted at a function getting teary-eyed listening to the National Anthem. She even tried to rub off a drop of the tear before anyone sees it. But we did spot it. Isn’t Aishwarya just most of us in the video? The actress was last seen in Fanney Khan along with Anil Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. The movie couldn’t make much noise at the box-office, but that doesn’t stop her from getting projects at hand. Apart from Gulab Jamun with Abhishek Bachchan, the actress also aspires to be a director soon. The former Miss World is also set to be honoured the first ever Meryl Streep Award for Excellence at the first Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India Award. The ceremony will be held on 8th September in Washington DC and will acknowledge the best female talent in Bollywood and Hollywood.
Apart from Aishwarya, director Zoya Akhtar and Dhadak star Janhvi Kapoor, among others, will also be honoured at the event.
