Shashi Kapoor's birth anniversary: Songs from the legendary actor that are evergreen

Shashi Kapoor was one of the best actors in the Hindi film industry. In his career span of four decades, he entertained people with different roles. 

The legendary actor was born on March 18, 1938. Today, it is his 80th birthday anniversary.

Shashi Kapoor's charm was irresistible. His performance, his charisma and his good looks helped him win a lot of hearts and stay on the top for a long time in the film industry.

Shashi Ji's journey into the acting industry began when he was a kid. In his overall career, the talented actor has acted in more than 110 films. 

Some of his best performances include films like Mehndi Lagi Mere Haath, Kabhi Kabhie, New Delhi Times, Roti Kapda Aur Makan, Heeralal Pannalal, Deewar,  Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Raja Saab, Pighalta Aasman and many others. He has also acted in several English films such as The Householder, Bombay Talkie, Heat and Dust and many others. Kapoor was India's first actor to go international and work in English movies. He romanced many beautiful actors onscreen such as Nanda, Raakhee, Sharmila Tagore, Zeenat Aman, Hema Malini, Parveen Babi and many others.

Shashi Kapoor was honoured with the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India, Dadasaheb Phalke Award and three National Film Awards.

Last year on December 4, he breathed his last leaving a void in the film industry that can never be filled.  

However, his memories, his amazing performances and movies are still evergreen and so are the songs from his films.
