Nagabharanam Teaser: Kodi Ramkrishna 'Resurrects' Vishnuvardhan in his Latest Directorial Venture
It was in 2009 that the Indian film fraternity lost one of its most celebrated names when the legendary Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan passed away and left behind an unmatchable legacy. Now, nearly seven years after his death, the actor’s fans have an opportunity to catch him on the big screen again.
In an exciting development, the official teaser of director Kodi Ramakrishna’s highly ambitious Nagabharanam has been released. Boasting of heavy-duty VFX, the historical drama features Vishnuvardhan in the lead and is touted to be his “201st film” The makers have used some advanced CGI to bring to life the matinee idol.
Based on the teaser, it becomes clear that Nagabharanam heavily touches upon Indian mythology. Moreover, it is also likely to feature some gripping war scenes.
Interestingly, the veteran filmmaker Kodi is perhaps best known for helming the 2009 release Arundhati. Featuring Anushka Shetty in the lead and touted as a dark fantasy-drama, it proved to be a major success. Let us hope that Nagabharanam too fares well at the box office.
