Watch: 'Fuelled by love', this British Airways ad will leave you teary-eyed
High on emotions and fuelled by love, this new advertisement by British Airways — depicting how an air hostess fell in love with India on her first visit — will warm your heart. Inspired by a true story, this six and a half minute will make you proud of your culture that whole-heartedly welcomes one and all.
The ad shows flight attendant Helena and an elderly Indian passenger, Anandi, who is on her maiden flight to Hyderabad from Britain. During the course of the time, Anandi is moved by the young air hostess’ dedication and upon landing she invites Helena to her house in Hyderabad.
Directed by Masaan director, Neeraj Ghaywan, the story shows the bond between the women and their emotional connect manages to tug our heartstrings.
An excited director, Ghaywan took to Twitter and shared, “My first commercial A short film that I directed for British Airways: #FuelledByLove. Anandi and Helena's story.”
