When Vijay Deverakonda laughed at his brother Anand's decision to foray into showbiz
Ahead of the film's release, Anand in a candid interview revealed about how his brother Vijay Deverakonda laughed at his decision to enter the film industry.
Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda has won the hearts of the audience with his powerful screen presence. The Arjun Reddy star has proved his mettle and now, his brother Anand Deverakonda is making his way to the showbiz. Vijay's younger brother is making his debut with the film, Dorasani. The film is hitting the screens on July 12. Ahead of the film's released, Anand in a candid interview with New Indian Express revealed about how his brother laughed at his decision to enter the film industry.
Sharing about his brother's reaction to his decision, Anand said that when Vijay was having his lunch, their dad casually said about Anand's decision to foray into the showbiz. "He laughed out loud and asked me, “Are you serious?” I replied, “Why not!” He further revealed how Vijay cautioned him about how things work in the film industry. Talking about success and failures, Anand said, "Being Vijay’s brother, I will have the luxury of getting two-three films despite the outcome of my debut film. After that, you will have to go through a lot of scrutiny as people get judgmental about your looks, acting and several other aspects. To answer your question, I haven’t ever thought about it that way, neither have I looked at my brother’s star power to get me more films. I want to prove my mettle as an actor and work in different cinema. I have seen how Vijay deals with success and failure and I will also try to remain calm."
With his debut film all set to release in July, Anand Deverakonda has already signed be directed by a newcomer and will be produced by a leading production house. The young actor will be seen as a boy-next-door hailing from Guntur in the film.
