But, now as per the latest reports, the makers of the film have brought on board actor Vijay Antony. The actor had featured in films like 'Agni Siragugal', 'Khakhee' and 'Thamizharasan'. The actor Vijay Antony had last appeared in the film called Kolaigaran.
The actor had started off in the industry as a music director but today he one of the well known actors in the film industry. The yet to be titled Malayalam film which will be directed by Vipin will see the dynamic trio of superstar Mohanlal and the talented actress Nayanthara along with Vijay Antony. The makers had initially hoping to cast the Sanga Thamizhan actor. But, the actor is busy with multiple projects and could not allot time for the film starring superstar Mohanlal and the gorgeous actress Nayanthara. Mohanlal will be seen essaying the role of a country's Prime Minister in the soon to release film called Kaappaan.
The film Kaappaan will star Suriya in the lead. The actor is said to be going undercover to protect the Prime Minister. The megastar Mohanlal also featured in the film called Ittymaani: Made in China. The stunning actress Nayanthara will be seen in the period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring megastar Chiranjeevi. The film is one of the most expensive films made in the south film industry. The film starring Chiranjeevi is produced by RRR actor Ram Charan.
