Superstar Vijay has been on cloud nine these days. After all, his last release Bigil enjoyed a golden run at the box office. And now, after basking in the success of Bigil, Vijay is gearing up for his next project which is tentatively titled as Thalapathy 64. The movie has been the talk of the town since its inception and the fans have been keen to get every update about Vijay’s next project. While the team is busy shooting for the movie in Delhi, it is reported that the makers are planning a special surprise for the audience.

According to the recent buzz, the makers will be unveiling the first look of Thalapathy 64 on New Year. The media reports also suggested that the makers will also be announcing the titled of the movie. However, as per another report published in Times of India, the makers have zeroed in a title for Vijay starrer. Reportedly, the movie will be titled as Doctor and will revolve around the medical scandals and NEET issues.

Notably, an official announcement about the title and the first look release is yet to be made by the makers. But this piece of news has certainly made Vijay’s fans excited about the movie.


Interestingly, the movie also created a lot of buzz after Vijay’s pictures from the Delhi schedule went viral on social media. However, the posts were flagged by the makers following which Twitter sent notices to users who had shared the pics and they were pulled down with immediate effect.

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagraj, the Vijay starrer will star Vijay Sethupathi as the lead antagonist. Besides, it will also feature Malavika Mohanan, Antony Varghese, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Varghese, Soundarya Nandakumar and Ramya Subramanian in pivotal roles.
