Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh film title REVEALED; Find Out
A few weeks ago, it was announced that Vijay Deverakonda will be teaming with iSmart Shankar director Puri Jagannadh for a movie. It has now been revealed that the makers have locked in a title.
Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh have had a memorable summer. On one hand, Puri Jagannadh was riding the high tides with the success of iSmart Shankar, Vijay Deverakonda made the headlines with Dear Comrade opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The two dynamic stars of Telugu film industry are coming together with the hope of delivering a blockbuster at the box office. Just a few weeks ago, it was revealed that Vijay and Puri have joined hands for a new project in Tollywood.
The new movie is produced by the stunning Charmee Kaur. It was already reported that Puri has been busy working on the script. Now, it has been revealed that the project has a title now. Drum rolls, please. According to a report in Tollywood.net, Vijay and Puri's new movie has been titled Fighter.
Intriguing, isn't it? It has been revealed that Charmme has registered the name with the Film Chamber which stars Vijay in the lead. While nothing much is known about the script, the title does seem like Vijay will be battling out either in the ring or in life. The film is expected to go on floors in January 2020. While no actress as been finalised, the buzz in the South Indian industry has it that producer Boney Kapoor and late actor Sri Devi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor is being considered for the female role. Provided a chance, we are sure Janhvi will grab the opportunity. For the unversed, the actress had confessed she would want to work with Vijay on Koffee With Karan last year. If it does turn out to be true, it will mark the actress's debut in Tollywood.
