Thalapathy 66: Master combo Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj to reunite again?

Thalapathy Vijay's recently released film Master took the box office by storm and opened to massive reviews from the audience and critics alike. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master also starred Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Meanwhile, reports are doing rounds that Master combo Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj might reunite for an upcoming untitled film. Tentatively called Thalapathy 66, reportedly the film will be bankrolled by XB Film Creators, who has also backed Master. However, there is no official word regarding the same yet. 

#Thalapathy66 is trending on social media big time as fans are eagerly waiting for this Master combo to reunite. Fans have taken social media by storm asking for an official update on the same. Meanwhile, Vijay recently announced that he has signed his 65th film. Sun Pictures, the production house is backing the project and is being helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The makers are yet to make an announcement about the film's female lead. A few reports stated that Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna have been approached to play the female lead.
