Thalapathy 63 First Look: Vijay to play dual roles as a father and a son; film gets titled BIGIL

Vijay's upcoming Tamil movie Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee, is one of the much-awaited films of the year. The film has been in the limelight since its inception. From the on-sets videos to the buzz around the film's first look, Vijay's Thalapathy 63 has left the audience curious to know what's in the stores for them. Now, finally, a day ahead of Vijay's birthday, the makers of the film have announced the title along with the first look of the sports drama. The film has been titled as Bigil and will see actor Vijay in dual roles as a father and a son. 

Director Atlee took to Twitter and shared the first interesting yet intense look that will leave you curious to know more about Vijay's dual role. He tweeted as, "Here comes my Bday gift to @actorvijay Anna. #Bigil Ennoda anna Ennoda thalapathy."

A day ago, producer Archana Kalpathi tweeted as, "21-06-19 / 5:59 pm will be the last time you will use the #Thalapathy63 .. After that it will be ...................... This first look will exceed all expectations #ThalapathyBDayCelebrations (sic)" 

Being directed by Atlee, the film also stars Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Daniel Balaji and Anandraj among others. The music of the film has been composed by A R Rahman. Reportedly, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing a cameo in the film. However, no official confirmation regarding the same has been made. 

Meanwhile, talking about his third outing in Tamil, Jackie Shroff in an interview to Pinkvilla said, "I feel Tamil industry likes me.. my Hero film ran for 75 weeks out there. I feel Tamil Nadu is favourable and I have been doing films in Tamil. I'm so happy that they have accepted and love me out there."
