Thalaivi: Jr NTR will NOT be a part of Kangana Ranaut starrer Jayalalithaa’s biopic? Find Out
As Kangana Ranaut is working hard for late politician Jayalalithaa’s biopic titled Thalaivi, it is reported that Jr NTR might not be a part of the movie.
It’s been while since Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie Thalaivi. The movie happens to be a biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa with Kangana playing the role of the late politician. Needless to say, the actress has been working hard for the movie. From learning Bharatnatyam to taking classes for Tamil language and undergoing prosthetic look tests, Kangana is not leaving any stone unturned for the same. While hard work has got the audience excited about Thalaivi and it was reported that superstar Jr NTR has been roped in to play the role of his grandfather N.T. Rama Rao.
Indeed, the news got his fans excited as he was considered to be the perfect choice to get into his grandfather’s shoes for Thalaivi. However, much to everyone’s surprise, Jr NTR has turned down the offer. According to a report published in Bollywood Life, a source close to the project stated that the Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava is not playing NTR’s role in Kangana starrer. Although the reason behind Jr NTR’s denial isn’t clear yet, this piece of news will certainly leave the audience disheartened.
With Jr NTR walking out Thalaivi, we wonder who will be essaying this key role in the much talked about movie. Talking about Jayalalithaa’s biopic, the movie has hit the floors early this month. Apart from Kangana, the movie will also star Arvind Swami in the lead. The renowned Tamil actor will be playing the quintessential role of the late actor-politician MG Ramachandran (popularly called as MGR) in the movie.
