Sri Reddy opens up about her sexual harassment controversy, says got tremendous result for removing clothes
Actress Sri Reddy recently spilled the beans on her infamous sexual harassment controversy wherein she revealed that she got a massive response to it for stripping down her clothes publicly. The actress recently praised Telengana CM KCR for setting up a committee against sexual harassment in the Telugu film industry.
Telugu actress Sri Reddy has been in the midst of several controversies lately. She was in the news for stripping down publicly as a protest against the big producers and other recognized faces of Tollywood who sexually exploited many struggling actresses before giving them an opportunity to make it big in the industry. The actress further grabbed headlines when she accused big names like Raghava Lawrence, Nani and Koratala Siva from the Telugu film industry for these misconduct. The actress recently opened up about the controversy which made her grab several headlines.
Sri Reddy revealed about the controversy saying that, “I got a tremendous response for removing clothes.” Telengana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) recently set up a committee of 25 members to efficiently investigate and examine the grave issue of sexual harassment in the Telugu film industry. Many went on to appreciate this decision of his and on this occasion Sri Reddy was all praises for the CM and also went on to call him a real hero for taking charge about the welfare of the women in the state.
Sri Reddy penned down a heartfelt post praising the Chief Minister and appreciating this landmark decision taken by him. She wrote, “Being a Hyderabadi Proud moment today..Thank u soooooooo much real hero kcr garu..my dream came true today..from mark of bit*h now you made me a heroine to this world..1 year of my pain gave the birth..g.o passed by government against sexual harrassment..for movie industry committee is forming soon on sexual harrassment..now got tremendous result for my removing clothes..main persons who made this true is sandya ,vasudha,sajaya,tej love u all..for this movement heart is "apoorva"..thank u every one, (sic).”
