Silambarasan TR to team up with director Gautham Menon for a new project

Silambarasan TR starrer Eeswaran was among the many movies that were released earlier this month. The South drama received a mixed response from the audience upon its release. For the unversed, the actor plays a rural man in the movie. As of now, Simbu is working on his upcoming project titled Maanaadu. Now, as per the latest reports, he will be teaming up with Gautham Menon for his next movie. Menon is accredited with work like Ekk Deewana Tha, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, and others. 

Meanwhile, this piece of news has been shared by none other than Silambarasan himself. He recently took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Happy as always to team up with my brother @menongautham and a new beginning with @IshariKGanesh @VelsFilmIntl @AshKum19 #SilambarasanTR47 God bless." For the unversed, the South star has earlier worked with Gautam Menon in two movies titled Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. So, this new project will mark his third collaboration with the latter.

Talking about Silambarasan TR's latest release Eeswaran, it also features Nidhhi Agerwal, Bharathiraja, and Nandita Shwetha in the lead roles. The action drama has been directed and written by Suseenthiran. The music for the same has been composed by S. Thaman. Talking about Simbu's other project titled Maanaadu, it happens to be a political thriller that has been directed by Venkat Prabhu. It also features Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, Premgi Amaren, and others in significant roles. Moreover, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the same.
