Silambarasan TR issues statement on father T Rajendar's health; Says 'he is conscious and fine'

Silamabarsan TR's father T Rajendar, actor and director of Kollywood, was hospitalised after reportedly suffering from cardiac arrest on May 7. According to reports, he is admitted to the hospital and is receiving treatment. Today, Silamabarasan took to his Twitter handle and issued an official statement about his dad's health, stating that he is fine and conscious. 

The press note read, "Dear fans, press, and media, My father had sudden chest pain and we admitted him to a private hospital. During the medical examination, it was revealed that he had a small bleeding in the abdomen, and the doctors have advised him to undergo the next step of treatment, so considering his health we have been taking him abroad for the next step of medical treatment. He is conscious and fine. He will be meeting you all soon after the medical treatment. Thanks all for your prayers and love.”

Reportedly, after being hospitalised for two weeks, in a private hospital in OMR, T Rajendar was shifted to another private hospital in Porur, Chennai, a few days back. It is said that now Simbu will move his dad to Singapore or USA for further treatment. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Simbu has Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, directed by Gautham Menon. The shoot is wrapped up, however, an official release date is yet to be announced. He also another film titled Corona Kumar, directed by Gokul, and both the movies are backed by Vels Film International.

Silambarasan is speculated to team up with Aishwaryaa Rajnikanth for his new project. However, an official announcement is yet to be made.
