Shruti Haasan to romance Vidyut Jammwal in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next; check out the first look
Vidyut Jammwal recently took to Instagram and shared a picture from the sets of their shooting. The film will see Shruti Haasan in the role of a gangster.
Bollywood and South actress Shruti Haasan who had been on a long break from films is back to square one. The actress will kick-start shooting for Vijay Sethupathi’s new film Laabam. Well, fans of the actress will also see her in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next film Power. Vidyut Jammwal recently took to Twitter and shared a picture from the sets of the shooting. The film will see Shruti Haasan in the role of a gangster and a picture of the actress holding a gun has taken over the social media.
Shruti, for the first time, will be seen in a different avatar. Talking about the film, producer Vijay Galani told Mid-Day, “The film is in post-production. After we announced the project last April, we preferred to wrap up the film and then talk about it. Shooting concluded in December. We had not titled the film as we were keen on a name that would make an impact. There is nothing better than Power.”

Before getting back to work, Shruti went on a short trip to Goa. The gorgeous actress was last seen in Singam 3, which had Suriya in the lead role. The actress who has been missing from South Indian cinema for the past few years is also concentrating on her career as a singer.
