Shruti Haasan kick starts shooting of her next film in style; WATCH

Bollywood and South actress Shruti Haasan who had been on a long break from films is back to her work now. The actress kick-starts shooting for Vijay Sethupathi’s new film Laabam. Shruti Haasan took to Instagram and shared a couple of photos from the sets of her film. The Southern-Bollywood beauty captioned the photos as, "Excited to start a new film with one of my favourite actors ! Such a lovely team  positive, progressive and fun !!." 

Shruti will be seen in movies after almost three years and fans of the actress are quite pumped up to know what's in the stores for them. Produced by 7Cs Entertainment and Vijay Sethupathi Productions, the film is being directed by SP Jananathan who has given films like ‘Peranmai’ and ‘E’. Besides Shruti Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi, the film also stars Kalaiyarasan in a pivotal role. The shooting of Laabam went on floors with an auspicious pooja today. Before heading to the shooting yesterday, Shruti shared a cool boomerang along with a caption that read as, "The eagle has landed- full on work mode begins !!!!!."

Before getting back to work, Shruti took a short trip to Goa. The gorgeous actress was last seen in Singam 3, which had Suriya in the lead role. The actress who has been missing from South Indian cinema for the past few years is also concentrating on her career as a singer.
