PIC: Vijay Deverakonda chills with Storm in his favourite corner as Liger shoot gets cancelled due to COVID-19
Actor Vijay Devarakonda posted a relaxing picture where he is chilling with his pet Storm.
Vijay Devarakonda is giving us weekend vibes as he penned a post about him relaxing with his pet Storm on his Instagram handle. In the picture, the actor is seen spending quality time with Siberian Husky in his favourite corner of the house. He captioned it, “Apparently its another wave Storm. Shoots cancelled. Back to us just chilling at home.”
The actor got this breather as the shoot for his highly talked about project Liger has come to an abrupt halt owing to the increase in COVID-19 cases. The upcoming sports drama is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. Vijay Devarakonda will be seen playing a boxer with a stammering issue in the film. Jointly financed by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, the film will also see Bollywood actress Ananya Panday as the female lead. Former legendary boxer Mike Tyson is making his Indian film debut with the film. However, he will only be seen in a special appearance in the film.

Vijay Devarakonda’s next will released in both Hindi and Telugu along with the dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The audiences will get a chance to enjoy Liger on the big screens on 25 August 2022.
In order to train for his part in the film, the actor attended mixed martial arts classes in Thailand. He underwent intense training to play the part of a boxer.
