Not Mission Mangal & Batla House but THIS reason resulted in Saaho's release date change; Find Out
Saaho will no longer release on August 15. The change in release date is not due to the clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and John Abraham's Batla House. Find out the real reason below.
The Independence Day 2019 box office just got a little less starry after it was confirmed that Saaho is not releasing on August 15. Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Saaho was slated to clash with Mission Mangal and Batla House. The Prabhas starrer sees the Telugu star play a spy. The posters and teasers have been intriguing. While we were hoping that the suspense would be unveiled in less than a month, fans will have to wait until August 30.
While it would seem like the filmmakers behind Saaho would want to avert the clash with Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal and John Abraham starrer Batla House. The case is otherwise. The makers have confirmed that they want to release an incomplete movie. Hence, they chose to push back the release date and present a quality movie.
A spokesperson for the producers said, “We want to bring the best to the audience. For bringing finesse to the action sequences we need some more time. Although we are shifting the date from Independence Day but we want to stick to the month of Independence and patriotism with Saaho. We are dedicated to bringing the biggest movie on the largest scale.” Its always better to deliver a good movie rather than a half-baked movie that leaves fans unimpressed.
Saaho sees Prabhas pair opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. Their chemistry was teased in the Psycho Saiyaan song released a few days ago. Saaho will be released in three languages, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Apart from Prabhas and Shraddha, Saaho features Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma.
