The film is scripted by Geetu Mohandas and she has also written the film's screenplay. Bollywood's well-known director Anurag Kashyap has contributed towards the scripting of the Hindi version. This film also has actors like Shashank Arora, Sobhita Dhulipala, Roshan Mathew, Dileesh Pothan, Harish Khanna, Sujith Shankar, and Melissa Raju Thomas playing important roles. The lead actor Nivin Pauly who has undergone a special makeover for this film. The cinematography for this film is done by Rajeev Ravi. The music direction for Moothon will be done by Sagar Desai and the editing will be done by Ajith Kumar.
