Mohanlal on working with Suriya: I was thrilled to work with him

Suriya, who was last seen in the Selvaraghavan's NGK, has geared up for the release of his upcoming film, Kaappaan. It is one of the much-anticipated films that is releasing in August end. Bankrolled by Lyca Production, the Telugu version is titled Bandobust. The makers of the film recently hosted a grand audio launch in Chennai and none other than superstar Rajinikanth graced the event. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal who is also a part of the film was all praises for director KV Anand and Suriya. The Odiyan star shared his experience of working with Suriya.

Speaking at the promotional event, Mohanlal said, "I know K.V. Anand for 25 years, since 'Thenmavin Kombath' (Malayalam film) and with this film, he will prove he is the finest with the craft. When the script was narrated to me, I was thrilled to work with Suriya. He has an irresistible passion as an actor." The film will see Mohanlal as the Prime Minister of India and Suriya will essay of an intelligence officer.

At the audio launch event, Suriya also shared how this film is very important for him. The makers of Kaappaan are yet to announce the release date of the film. Well, moviegoers are pretty excited to see Mohanlal and Suriya's first collaboration. What do you think?
