Superstar Mohanlal is gearing up for his directorial debut Barroz. The megastar Mohanlal has said that his debut film will majorly feature foreign actors. There is a strong buzz that Mohanlal has brought on board foreign actors like Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo. Paz Vega is a Spanish actress and has done several Hollywood flicks like Spanglish, Kill the Messenger and Rambo. Rafael Amargo is a well-known Spanish theatre actor and also a choreographer. Mohanlal's directorial debut film is a fantasy film.
The superstar will be seeing playing the lead role of a guardian of Vasco Da Gama’s treasure. A 12-year girl will also play a key role in this film. The Mohanlal starrer is expected to start the shoot by end of this year of early next year. Currently, Mohanlal is busy with his dubbing for the upcoming film called Kaappaan. The film is directed by KV Anand. The actor will be essaying the role of the country's Prime Minister. This character is called Chandrakanth Varma in the film.
This is not the first time when Mohanlal has dubbed in Tamil film. The actor did his own dubbing for the films like Unnaipol Oruvan, Jilla and also the Tamil versions of Lucifer and Pulimurugan. The story of Kaappaan focuses on the relationship shared between Mohanlal and Suriya's character. Mohanlal is also looking forward to the release of his film called Ittymaani: Made In China. The actor will be seen playing a double role in this film. The fans are eagerly waiting to see what Mohanlal does with his directorial debut.
