Superstar Mohanlal will start dubbing for his character called Chandrakanth Varma in the upcoming film titled Kaappaan. Previously, Mohanlal had dubbed for his Tamil films like Unnaipol Oruvan, Jilla and the Tamil versions of Lucifer and Pulimurugan.
Superstar Mohanlal will start dubbing for his character called Chandrakanth Varma in the upcoming Tamil film titled Kaappaan. The Ittymaani: Made In China actor essays the Prime Minister of India's role in this Suriya starrer. Kaappaan is directed by KV Anand. Previously, Mohanlal had dubbed for his Tamil films like Unnaipol Oruvan, Jilla and the Tamil versions of Lucifer and Pulimurugan. As per reports, Mohanlal while speaking about the film had said that he had watched a lot of Suriya and his father's films in the past. The superstar further adds that he has known the director of the film, KV Anand from long back.
Mohanlal says due to the familiarity with the cast and crew of this film he was in his comfort zone. Kaappaan is produced by Lyca Productions. The story line of Kaappaan revolves around the relationship shared between Mohanlal and Suriya's characters. The megastar Suriya was previously seen in Selvaraghavan's NGK is looking forward to his film Kaappaan's release. This film is a highly anticipated film as two superstars, Suriya and Mohanlal will be sharing screen space for this one. The film's Telugu version is called Bandobust.
The cast and crew of Kaappaan hosted a lavish audio launch event in Chennai. Superstar Rajinikanth was seen at the event with the leading stars of this film. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be seen in a double role in his film called Ittymaani: Made In China. The actor had previously essayed double roles in films like Udayon and Ravanaprabhu.
