Ittymaani: Made In China: Mohanlal to essay a double role in his upcoming film
The megastar Mohanlal has previously played double roles in films like Udayon and Ravanaprabhu. Now, the actor once again, will be essaying a double role for his upcoming film, Ittymaani: Made In China.
The megastar Mohanlal has previously played double roles in films like Udayon and Ravanaprabhu. Now, the actor once again, will be essaying a double role for his upcoming film, Ittymaani: Made In China. This film has been directed by first time directors, Joju and Jibi. Joju had said about the film that Mohanlal's scenes as the father of the lead character were recently shot in China. The actor was seen in a still from the film, in the get-up from the Chinese martial arts.
The co-director says that the still from the shoot was from a song sequence that was shot in China. They were a few Tai Chi fighters along with the actor in that song. He further adds that the character is not exactly based on the martial arts. Actress Honey Rose’s character called Jessy will be seen playing the lead character's romantic interest in this film. Actress Madhuri Braganza of Joseph fame will be essaying a part opposite Ittymaani’s father. The fans are very excited about this film as now the news is out that the superstar will be essaying a double role in Ittymaani: Made In China.
This film happens to be amongst the first film from the Malayalam industry to be shot in China. The only difficulty the cast and crew if this film had faced was the weather of China. The co-director says that the moment they wanted to begin the shoot, it had started raining in China and once the film cast and crew left the place it had stopped raining.
