Meeku Maathrame Cheptha FIRST LOOK: Vijay Deverakonda introduces the new set of actors
Vijay Deverakonda took to Twitter and shared the first look of Meeku Maathrame Cheptha. Interestingly, he is launching the man who launched him in the Telugu film industry.
Vijay Deverakonda's rise to stardom began with the National Award-winning 2016 blockbuster romantic comedy, Pelli Choopulu and today, he is launching the film's director Tharun Bhascker as the lead hero. As earlier we reported, Vijay's first production film is titled ‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha' and Pelli Choopulu director Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam makes his acting debut as a lead role. Tharun has featured in a couple of films as a character artist but this is for the first time, he will be seen as the lead actor.
The Arjun Reddy star took to twitter and shared the first look of the film. Interestingly, he is launching the man who launched him in the Telugu film industry. Vijay tweeted, "Launching the man who launched me into the world of Telugu Cinema Herodom Launching an all new Director, Music Director, Cameraman, set of actors package Giving you my loves a laughriot for all the smiles you've given me #MeekuMaathrameCheptha #KingOfTheHill." The tagline 'my best friend's secret' is quite catchy and will leave you curious to know what the film is about.

As he announced about the film's first title, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, "While we were finding it painfully hard to break into the industry and make a film, I decided...The day I make it, I'll start a production house... I realize how hard it is to do this and how risky but what is life without a challenge, so with most of my savings on the line I reveal to you King Of The Hill's 1st production Title!."
