Mammootty’s Priest gets a U/A from CBFC; New poster of the megastar unveiled
Directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko, The Priest has Manju Warrier playing as the leading lady.
After the makers of Mammootty’s upcoming film, The Priest revealed that the film’s teaser on January 14, the actor has been sharing posters after posters. Now, it has been revealed that the film has received a U/A from the Central Board of Film Certification. Sharing the news, Mammootty also shared another poster of him. This has come as an amazing treat to those who have been waiting to know updates about the highly anticipated film. Fans took to the comments section and expressed how excited they are to watch the film.
The makers have unveiled some posters of the actor, and the latest news comes as an unexpected surprise. When the teaser was released on the occasion of Pongal, it received a positive response from the fans. Meanwhile, actress Manju Warrier who is playing a crucial role in the film reportedly completed her dubbing portion recently and it is expected that the news about the release date will be out soon. Directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko, The Priest is bankrolled by Anto Joseph, Unnikrishnan B and V N Babu, under the banner Anto Joseph Film Company and RD Illuminations. Touted to be a supernatural thriller, the film also marks the first collaboration of Manju Warrier and Mammootty. Other than the lead actors, Nikhila Vimal, Saniya Iyappan and Baby Monica will be seen playing some important roles.
