Maanaadu: Teaser of the Venkat Prabhu directorial to be released on Silambarasan TR’s birthday
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Maanaadu has Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leading lady and it is touted to be a political drama.
It was revealed by Silambarasan TR on his Twitter space that the teaser of his next film Maanaadu will be released on his birthday, which is on February 3. He shared the news and requested his fans not to visit his residence to wish him, as he is not in town. He added that he was abroad and apologised for not being able to meet the fans on his birthday.
He also expressed his gratitude to his fans for believing in him even during his hard days. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Maanaadu is a political thriller and the shooting is happening at a brisk pace. It has Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leading lady. Bharathiraja, Manoj K Raja, SA Chandrasekar, SJ Suryah are the other top actors who will be seen playing some key roles in the film. The makers recently shared some posters of Simbu from the film and all of the posters turned out to be huge hits. Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to compose music for the film.

Meanwhile, it was announced that the sensational actor will be joining hands with Gautam Vasudev Menon for a new project. Silambarasan TR’s film Eeswaran directed by Suseenthiran was released as a Pongal special. The film clashed the Box Office with Thalapathy Vijay’s Master. It has Nidhi Aggerwal as the leading lady, while Bharathiraja featured in a key role. Simbu also has a film titled Pathu Thala in his kitty, directed by Krishna.
