Malavika Mohanan to romance Vijay in Thalapathy 64?
Now, according to the latest update about Thalapathy 64 which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Malavika Mohanan has been roped in to play Vijay's heroine.
While fans of the Tamil star Vijay are waiting for the release of Bigil, here's an about his next, Thalapathy 64. The speculations regarding who will play the female lead opposite Vijay in Thalapathy 64 had been going on around since a very long time. Now, according to the latest update about the film which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Malavika Mohanan has been roped in to play Vijay's heroine. Earlier, Kiara Advani's name had come up but latest reports suggest Malavika has been locked for Vijay's next.
The official announcement about the same will be made soon. The makers of the film are currently busy with the film's pre-production work and the shooting of the film will kick start in November. Vijay will gear up for his next after the release of Bigil. Earlier, director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed details about his next with Vijay, he said, "You will get to watch never-seen-before Vijay in the movie and it will be a never-seen-before Vijay film."
Malavika Mohanan was last seen in South film, Petta starring superstar Rajinikanth. With Vijay's 64th film, Malavika will get a huge boost to her career in the Southern film industry, considering it is going to be a full-fledged role.
Talking about Bigil, touted to be a sports drama, the film stars Nayanthara in the female lead, while Jackie Shroff plays an important role. The music of the film has been composed by AR Rahman.
